Welcome Sandi Wike to CBCC

Sandi Wike has joined the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) as Sponsorship Developer for the Hickory area, which includes Alexander, Caldwell, Catawba, Wilkes Counties. She will be responsible for managing relationships with businesses, high schools, colleges and the faith-based community to help increase blood donations through sponsored blood drives.

A native of Alexander County and a long-time resident of Hickory, Wike has nearly 30 years of sales and customer experience in the Hickory area including: Hickory Springs Manufacturing, the Hickory Daily Record and most recently the Crown Plaza of Hickory. She received an associated degree in paralegal technology from Western Piedmont Community College. She has also served as volunteer coordinator for Hickory’s Oktoberfest for the past two years and has served two years on the Art and Culture Committee for Catawba County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Catawba.

The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas relies on local volunteer blood donors and organizations to help provide the nearly 400 blood products needed each day to treat area patients.
