Lime Energy: Social Madness Blood Drive
Lime Energy is holding a Social Media inspired blood drive with the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. The drive will be on August 9th from 1-4pm on a bloodmobile outside Lime Energy’s office in Huntersville, NC. There will be a food truck, free ice cream coupons, corn hole and more for donors.
Both Lime Energy and the Community Blood Center were participants in the Charlotte Business Journal’s Social Media Madness Challenge. During the first round of this competition, both of these companies were competing for first place in the Medium Businesses category. Very graciously during the height of the competition, Lime Energy offered to hold a blood drive to support local patients this summer.
“In the spirit of the Social Media Madness Competition, we urge donors from the other businesses in the competition to roll up their sleeves when the communities’ needs are the most.” said Martin Grable, president and CEO of Community Blood Center of the Carolinas.
