July Champion of the Month: Sherrill Furniture

Sherrill Furniture had only held one drive with CBCC before we reached out to them to help save our summer.  This summer, with the blood shortage, CBCC has reached out to several of our sponsors to see if they were willing to pitch in for local patients and hold an additional drive this year.  Sherrill Furniture stepped up to the plate.  Sandy, the blood drive coordinator at Sherrill, recruited almost double the donors that we had for our first drive.  The employees took time out of their very busy day to save lives.

In total the employees of Sherrill Furniture have saved up to 195 lives, 123 of those from their drive in July!  It is nice to have community members like the employees at Sherrill who are willing to sacrifice their time to save lives.
