During the summer months blood donations decrease. For the past few years, we have called on our local students to save our summer. In the Student Saving Summer program, students hold blood drives and the one with the most blood collected for our community wins scholarship money.

This summer was especially difficult for blood donation. We were in a shortage for a few months. This summer, students really helped maintain our blood supply for the local hospitals. 70 Blood Drives were held by students, impacting over 4,000 lives in our community!
